24 hour basin average rainfall ending 7:00 AM today was highly
variable with a tenth /0.10/ to a half inch /0.50/ on the average.
There were isolated amounts of up to an inch in the Tennessee headwaters,
and isolated amounts of 2 to 3 inches just east of the Blue Ridge
within the headwaters of the Dan, the Roanoke and James.

Forecast rainfall ending 7:00 AM Monday is for generally less than
a tenth of an inch. Impacts on area river stages will be highly
variable, some of which are in flood due to the heavy rains from the
last 72 hours.
