A passing storm system tonight will increase the chances of a
cold rain and snow this morning. The potential for rain/snow will
continue during the day. Temperatures are just barely cold enough
for snow and snow accumulation will be very elevation dependent.
The higher elevations across Sweetwater County could see 2 to 4
inches of snow while some areas see just a rain snow mixture or
brief period of snow with light accumulation on the grass. A gusty
northeast wind of 20 to 35 mph will also accompany the snow.
Interstate 80 will likely stay wet most of the time but there
could be a brief period of slush during any period of heavier snow
showers. The system will exit tonight with a dry and warmer
weekend in store.

and snow this morning above 5500 to 6000 feet. The potential for
snow will be mainly in the morning. Temperatures are just barely
cold enough for snow and snow accumulation will be very elevation
dependent. The higher elevations across the area could see an inch
or two of snow this morning while some areas see just a rain or a
rain snow mixture. A gusty northeast wind of 20 to 30 mph will
also be present. Area highways will likely stay wet most of the
time. The system will exit tonight with a dry and warmer weekend
in store.

A passing storm system will bring snow across the Wind River
Mountains this morning and continue through the day. Snowfall
amounts 3 to 6 inches are possible during the day. A strong
northeast wind of 30 to 45 mph across pass may restrict visibility
at times and South Pass could become slushy at times during
periods of heavier snow showers. The system will exit tonight with
a dry and warmer weekend in store.

Natrona County Lower Elevations-Casper Mountain-
Including the city of Casper

A passing storm system will increase the chances of a cold rain
across the lower elevations during the day with a brief rain snow
mixture possible in the evening before ending. The higher
elevations above 7000 feet may see accumulating snowfall during
the day with the snow level lowering to near 5000 to 5500 feet
in the evening. Casper Mountain could see 3 to 6 inches of snow.
Casper will see a good chance of rain during the day with some
rain snow mix possible in the evening. The higher elevations west
of Casper above 6000 feet could see some rain snow mix during the
day. Roads will be mostly wet across the lower elevations with
some slush possible on the higher spots of Casper Mountain. The
system will exit late tonight with a dry and warmer weekend in
store.
