.DISCUSSION...
A ridge of high pressure extending from Maine to Eastern
Pennsylvania will maintain dry weather through Tuesday morning.

Periods of rain showers will track from west to east across
Central PA during Tuesday afternoon through the Wednesday night
timeframe.

The wind will blow from the southeast today with gusts
increasing through the teens later this morning and topping out
between 20 to 25 mph this afternoon on the ridgetops from the
Allegheny Plateau northward into the ANF.

Minimum RH is forecast to drop into the 25-35% range this
afternoon. Depending on how much fuels, such as leaf little
and twigs, can dry out following the rainfall Friday night into
Saturday, there may be an elevated risk of wildfire spread
this afternoon over portions of central and western PA.
