This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight

Windy conditions this afternoon with northwest winds gusting from
35 to 40 mph, especially in north and east Iowa. These will
diminish into this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Thunderstorms are expected Thursday evening through the weekend,
with periods of strong to severe storms possible at times,
especially on Friday. Locally heavy rainfall is also possible.
Additional details will be more clear in the coming days.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed Friday.
