This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A large storm system is expected to cross our region tonight and
early Tuesday, bringing increasing chances for thunderstorms.
Some of these storms could be strong to severe, especially on
Tuesday. A Marginal Risk, or level 1 out of 5, remains in effect
for parts of southeast Iowa, west-central Illinois, and northeast
Missouri tonight. The main threat with these storms will be large
hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

The threat for strong to severe storms continues on Tuesday,
where an Enhanced Risk, or level 3 out of 5, has expanded
northeastward, now including areas along and south of a Vinton, IA
to Bettendorf, IA to Nekoma, IL line. A Slight Risk, or level 2
out of 5, remains across the remainder of the area Tuesday. All
hazards will be possible, with large hail and a few tornadoes
being the main threat for Tuesday afternoon and evening.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed early Tuesday morning, and again
Tuesday afternoon and evening.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY: Storms will move north-northeast
at 30 to 40 MPH tonight.
