This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are possible late this
afternoon through this evening. The greatest threat is expected
across the Rolling Plains, however a slight chance of severe weather
remains possible across the eastern South Plains. Large hail up to
two inches in diameter and damaging winds gusts up to 70 mph are the
main threats. While tornadoes are unlikely, they cannot completely
be ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Windy and dry conditions Thursday will lead to critical fire weather
concerns across the western South Plains and far southwest Texas
Panhandle where a Fire Weather Watch is in effect.

Severe thunderstorms are possible late Thursday afternoon and
especially Thursday night, mainly along and east of the I-27/US-87
corridor.

Another round of strong to severe thunderstorms are possible on
Saturday across the Rolling Plains and far southeast Texas
Panhandle. Farther west, strong west winds along with elevated to
critical fire weather conditions are possible.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed.
