Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure of 30.2 inches over the Upper Great
Lakes will weaken to 30.0 inches and give way to a 29.6 inch low
organizing in the Central Plains that will track across the Midwest
and Lower Michigan late today into tonight. A 29.6 inch low will
swing through Ontario late Tuesday and bring a 29.7 inch trough
across Lake Superior overnight on Wednesday into Thursday morning.
High pressure of 30.0 inches will then build into the area Thursday
evening, followed by 29.6 inch low approaching from the northwest
Friday.
