This hazardous weather outlook is for northwest California.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A Wind Advisory is currently in effect late tonight above
1500 feet elevation.

Gusty southerly winds up to 40 to 50 mph across exposed ridges
will precede a front on Friday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A Wind Advisory is in effect Friday morning.

Gusty southerly winds up to 40 to 50 mph across exposed ridges
will precede a front on Friday. Rain will push in by Friday
afternoon, and heavy downpours will persist Saturday, with several
inches of total rainfall possible across southwest-facing mountainous
terrain.

No hazardous weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A storm system will bring periods of moderate to heavy rain Friday
and Saturday, with over several inches of total rainfall likely
across southwest-facing mountainous terrain. Snow levels will
generally remain near or above 6000 feet, which will preclude
significant winter weather impacts. Wind gusts around 40 mph are
possible on the higher mountain peaks on Friday.
