At least until 4:00 pm AST, showers will continue to develop and
affect most of the island. Periods of moderate to locally heavy
rains will cause ponding of water on roadways and in poor drainage
areas as well as hazards driving conditions. The heaviest rains
were now occurring just along parts of the south coastal
municipalities, further inland between Ponce and Jayuya and in the
northwest around Moca. The activity was moving northwest around
15 mph.
