...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 PM EDT
FOR NORTHERN LITCHFIELD AND NORTHEASTERN DUTCHESS COUNTIES...

At 729 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Westfield to near Sharon, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Torrington, New Hartford, Amenia, Sharon, Pine Plains, Norfolk,
Millbrook, Millerton, Northwest Harwinton, Stanfordville, New
Hartford Center, Falls Village, Cornwall Bridge, Winsted, Harwinton,
Bethel, Barkhamsted, Salisbury, Goshen and Colebrook.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
