Today will be relatively tranquil day for most of the listening area,
with just some light rain possible over southern parts of south
dakota. for tonight through tuesday night, another strong storm will
push north into the area, with widespread rain expected to spread
from south to north across the state. some of that rain may prove to
be heavy. meanwhile, the chances for any severe weather through
tuesday night look very minimal. however, it will be windy on
tuesday. another system could bring rain to the area thursday and
thursday night.

highs today will likely vary from the lower 60s in west central
minnesota, to the mid 40s over parts of south central south dakota.
lows tonight will be mainly in the 40s. highs on tuesday will range
from the mid 40s, to middle 50s.
