For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis

High pressure over the Texas panhandle will steer moisture into eastern
Utah and western Colorado from the south today, allowing for a better
chance of mainly higher elevation showers and thunderstorms. Some storms
will produce strong and gusty winds and little rainfall. Afternoon
temperatures will again be on the hot side, warming to near to above
seasonal for late July, with lower elevation highs in the nineties.
