THE REMNANTS OF TROPICAL SYSTEM BARRY WILL MOVE AWAY FROM THE AREA
TODAY. HOWEVER, THERE WILL CONTINUE TO BE A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS MAINLY ACROSS SOUTHEAST MISSOURI INTO WEST KENTUCKY,
AND PARTS OF SOUTHWEST INDIANA.

A STRONG UPPER LEVEL HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE WILL BUILD OVER THE AREA
THURSDAY THROUGH SUNDAY, RESULTING IN A PERIOD OF EXCESSIVE HEAT
AND HUMIDITY. THERE IS LITTLE TO NO CHANCE OF RAIN UNTIL LATE IN
THE WEEKEND, INTO THE BEGINNING OF NEXT WEEK.
