Periods of rain into the afternoon will transition to passing
showers later today with a gusty thunderstorm possible this
afternoon and evening across western Pennsylvania. High
temperatures will range from the mid to upper 50s in the Endless
Mountains and Poconos in northeastern Pennsylvania to the mid 70s
in the far southwest corner of the Commonwealth.

Shower activity should decrease in coverage tonight with areas of
fog developing overnight into early Monday morning. Low
temperatures will be relatively mild and range from 50 degrees in
Erie to near 60 degrees in the major metro areas in southeast
Pennsylvania.

Warmer and drier weather is expected on Monday with highs climbing
into the 65 to 80 degree range. An isolated shower or thunderstorm
will be possible south of the turnpike Monday afternoon and
evening.


The weather pattern trends increasingly unsettled through midweek
with showers and thunderstorms possible. A cooling trend will
arrive for late in the week and should last through Mother`s Day
weekend.
