Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure extending across the basin from the
western Atlantic will prevail through Sat, with gentle to
moderate winds in the NE half of the basin, and moderate to
fresh in the SW half of the basin. Winds will pulse to fresh to
strong in the evenings NW of the Yucatan Peninsula through Sat
evening. A cold front is forecast to move into the NW Gulf Sat
night into Sun, stalling and dissipating near 24N early next
week. Fresh to locally strong winds and building seas may follow
the front Sun into Sun evening. High pressure will return
thereafter.

.FRI...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.
.FRI NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 ft late.
.SAT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SAT NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.
.SUN...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure just E of 55W extends a trough through
24N55W to near the NE Caribbean islands. Otherwise high pressure
dominates the basin. The low and trough will shift ESE through the
end of the week. High pressure will then prevail through the
weekend with mainly gentle to moderate winds. A cold front may
move into the waters off NE Florida early Mon, reaching from
31N70W to the northern Bahamas early Tue. Moderate to fresh winds
may accompany the front. Winds may freshen over the SE waters
next week as the pressure gradient tightens there leading to
building seas. Mainly slight to moderate seas will prevail
elsewhere.

.OVERNIGHT...S of 27N, E winds 10 to 15 kt late. N of 27N, SE to
S winds 5 to 10 kt late. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to
5 ft N of 27N.
.FRI...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N.
.FRI NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N,
and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N.
.SAT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N.
.SAT NIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.
.SUN...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to
5 ft N of 27N.
.SUN NIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of
