Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. .SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...High pressure centered W and NW of the area will move farther W and SW away from the waters tonight into early Sun while weakening. Strengthening high pressure will slowly build E towards the N and central California coast later Sun and Sun night then expand to the N and NW of the area Mon and Mon night, and persist into Tue night. The area of high pressure to the N and NW of the area will weaken Wed into Thu, and then restrengthen Thu night. A weak coastal low pressure trough along the N and central coast will persist tonight, strengthen over this region by later Sun into Sun night, and then intensify further by late Mon through Tue night.
