...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN RANDOLPH...WEST
CENTRAL POCAHONTAS...NORTH CENTRAL NICHOLAS...SOUTHEASTERN BRAXTON
AND WEBSTER COUNTIES THROUGH 515 AM EDT...

At 446 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles east of Birch River, or 9 miles west of Webster Springs, moving
east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Webster Springs, Addison (Webster Springs), Mingo, Cowen, Diana,
Monterville, Slaty Fork, Upper Glade, Waneta, Boggs, Valley Head,
Bergoo, Centralia, and Erbacon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
