Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
413 AM MDT Sun Apr 22 2018

.Discussion...

Isolated afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms will be
possible today and again on Monday, primarily over the mountains
along the Continental Divide.

Monday night through Tuesday evening, a disturbance and cold
front will bring another chance of showers to much of the area, and
snow will be possible down to about 6,000 feet late Monday night
and early Tuesday.

The forecast for the middle and latter part of next week includes
at least isolated showers and thunderstorms each afternoon and
evening, mainly over the mountains. Temperatures will remain near
seasonal averages through Friday, then warm to slightly above
average next weekend.

Critical fire weather conditions are not currently expected over
the next 7 days.

Afternoon ventilation rates will range from fair to good across
the district today, then improve to good or better areawide on Monday
as transport winds increase.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
