central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms will be likely in the mountains this

Wind gusts to 40 mph will occur with the stronger storms along
with locally heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Scattered thunderstorms are forecast across the mountains Monday
and Tuesday, with isolated coverage over the high valleys and
eastern plains. Storm coverage Wednesday and Thursday becomes
very isolated before coverage increases again Friday and Saturday.
The main threats with storms this week will be lightning, small
hail, and wind gusts to around 40 mph. There is an increased
threat for severe storms Tuesday near the Colorado and new Mexico
border, where hail around one inch in diameter and damaging wind
gusts will be possible.
