...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN FORSYTH AND CENTRAL
DAVIDSON COUNTIES THROUGH 1015 PM EDT...

At 939 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Cooleemee to near Salisbury. Movement was
northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Winston-Salem, Lexington, Clemmons, Bermuda Run, Linwood, Arcadia,
Welcome, and High Rock Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for central North
Carolina.
