...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT EASTERN FORSYTH...NORTHEASTERN
DAVIDSON AND SOUTHWESTERN GUILFORD COUNTIES UNTIL 1245 AM EDT...

At 1204 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Clemmons, or 7 miles south of Winston-Salem, moving northeast at 25
mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Heavy rain and ponding of water on area roadways will also be
possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Lexington, Thomasville,
Kernersville, Clemmons, Bermuda Run, Stokesdale and Walkertown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
