URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service La Crosse WI
431 AM CDT Sun Mar 24 2024

...Heavy Wet Snow Expected from Mid to Late Morning through
Tonight...

.A band of heavy wet snow will move through the area mid-morning
today and last through tonight. As it progresses through the
region, snow totals across parts of northeastern Iowa into
southeast Minnesota and west central Wisconsin will range from
3 to 7 inches before precipitation begins to change over to rain
or ends. Higher totals of 6 to 10 inches are expected across
north central Wisconsin in northern Clark and Taylor counties.

Travel will be hazardous with the combination of heavy snowfall
rates of 1 inch or greater per hour and winds gusting to around
25 to 35 mph. Blowing and drifting snow is possible across
southeast Minnesota.

Due to the heavy and wet nature of this snow, take frequent
breaks if shoveling.
