...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER OVER PORTIONS OF THE PLAINS TODAY AND
MONDAY...

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Critical fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon for
parts of the plains and Palmer Divide.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Warm temperatures, low humidity, and winds gusting up to 40 mph will
create critical fire weather conditions on the plains Monday,
generally along and south of Interstate 76.

A windy weather system will move through late Monday into Tuesday.
The mountains will have light to moderate snow, while the plains
will have rain showers. A period of heavier snow is possible in
the mountains near the Wyoming border Monday afternoon and night.
These areas may receive up to a foot of new snow. Strong winds are
expected from the east slopes of the Front Range onto the plains
during the day Tuesday, with gusts up to 60 mph.

Cool weather with a chance of showers will persist the rest of
the week, with occasional snow in the mountains and a chance of
mostly rain showers on the plains.
