...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN SWAIN AND
NORTHWESTERN HAYWOOD COUNTIES THROUGH 1015 PM EDT...

At 942 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16
miles south of Newport, or near Smoky Mountains-Big Creek, moving
east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Smoky Mountains-Cataloochee, Smoky Mountains-Big Creek, Smoky
Mountains-Balsam Mountain, Cove Creek, Waterville, and Fines Creek.
