The Texas Department of State Health Services announces that effective
at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024, the private oyster harvest
areas of T.X. 6 of Galveston Bay as depicted on the maps dated November
1, 2023 will be close to the harvesting of molluscan shellfish defined
as oyster, clams, and mussels.
