...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Kentucky, including the following
  county, Pike.

* WHEN...Until midnight EDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding occurring in low-lying and poor drainage
  areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 950 PM EDT, Minor flooding is already occurring in the
    advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have
    fallen. Some additional light rain is expected through the
    remainder of the evening.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Elkhorn City, Coleman, Phelps, Jamboree, Paw Paw, Board Tree,
    Fedscreek, Majestic, Toonerville, Argo, Mouthcard and
    Woodman.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
