FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Gusty south to southwest winds will persist tonight into Tuesday
as a low of 29.5 inches passes by just to the north of Wisconsin.
Could see a few thunderstorms with the frontal passage on Tuesday.
Expect gusty winds to turn more northerly through the afternoon
tomorrow from north to south. There could be a short window of
time with gale force winds later tomorrow evening into tomorrow
night, especially across the southern half of the lake. Winds
will begin to lighten up Wednesday through the second half of the
week as high pressure builds to around 30.4 inches down across the
upper Great Lakes. Southerly winds will then increase again
heading into the weekend as another storm system approaches.

showers through early evening, then chance of rain showers
overnight. Waves 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft.
.TUESDAY...Southwest winds 15 to 25 kt becoming northwest to
30 kt. Slight chance of rain showers in the morning, then rain
showers likely with slight chance of thunderstorms in the
afternoon. Waves 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft subsiding to
4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...North winds to 30 kt. Chance of rain showers in
the evening. Waves 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft building to
8 to 11 ft occasionally to 14 ft.
.WEDNESDAY...Northeast winds 15 to 25 kt diminishing to 10 to
20 kt. Waves 6 to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft subsiding to 4 to
6 ft occasionally to 8 ft.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Northeast winds 10 to 15 kt becoming
southeast. Waves 2 to 4 ft subsiding to 1 to 2 ft.
.THURSDAY...South winds 10 to 15 kt. Waves 1 to 3 ft.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 10 to 15 kt increasing to 15 to
25 kt. Waves 1 to 3 ft building to 3 to 5 ft.
.FRIDAY...Southeast winds to 30 kt. Chance of rain showers. Waves

.TUESDAY NIGHT...West winds to 30 kt becoming north. Chance of
rain showers in the evening. Waves 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft
building to 8 to 12 ft occasionally to 16 ft.
