.DISCUSSION...
The latest satellite imageries continues to show open cell cumuli
clouds moving across the area, producing consistent rainfall
throughout the day, heavy at times. This pattern will continue
throughout the week as a high pressure system to the south
migrates eastward. A gentle to moderate easterly flow will remain
across the islands throughout the week. The upper air profile from
this afternoon (22/00Z) shows an unstable atmosphere. An
increasing trend in showers with an enhances probability of
thunderstorms remains over the area. Therefore, expect scattered
showers with gentle to moderate easterlies for tonight through the
short-term forecast period.

Long term model data shows an easterly flow with embedded showers
remaining for the rest of the forecast period. By this time
frame, the high pressure system will have moved well east of the
area, allowing a trough to the north to migrate closer to the
territory by Wednesday night. Expect scattered to numerous showers
with a gentle easterly flow for the rest of the week.

.Marine...
Model data shows a downward trend in seas for the forecast
period. Seas are around 5 to 7 feet gradually subsiding to 4 to 6
feet by Monday afternoon through at least Wednesday night. Seas
will build again to 5 to 7 feet on Thursday through the end of the
forecast period. Gentle to moderate (10 to 15 knots) easterlies
will remain for tonight through Monday, decreasing to a gentle
east breeze by Monday night into the rest of the week.
Furthermore, the advisory for small crafts remains in effect.
