...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR EAST CENTRAL JOHNSON COUNTY UNTIL
630 PM MDT...

At 557 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northwest of Fort Reno Historical Site, which is 18 miles
northeast of Kaycee, moving northeast at 45 mph.

Nickel size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Powder River Rest Area around 625 PM MDT.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 25 near mile marker 266.
 Interstate 90 between mile markers 82 and 95.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
