This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers and perhaps a thundershower or two are currently
developing along and SE of a Cassville to Salem line. These will
persist until sunset. Widespread rain chances begin late tonight
into Wednesday morning, generally starting sometime in the 4-9 AM
timeframe.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Widespread rain with embedded thunderstorm chances (60-80%) will
exist through Thursday morning with the highest chances along and
SE of I-44. Low potential for minor flooding across south central
Missouri.

Dry conditions and gusty northwest winds expected on Thursday
afternoon behind a frontal passage, supporting elevated to
significant fire weather conditions.
