.UPDATE...
Surface high pressure remains centered to our northeast this
evening while ridging continues to build aloft. Another quiet
overnight period is expected, though lows will be several degrees
warmer than they were this morning. The rest of Tuesday will
be breezy, warmer, and more humid. Overall, no concerns and no
changes needed to the ongoing forecast.

VFR conditions are expected. Some periodic wind gusts to around
20-25 knots will continue then eventually decrease toward the end
of the period.

.MARINE...
High pressure will remain over the waters through Tuesday, with
periods of gusty southeast winds continuing. A Small Craft
Advisory remains in place for portions of the waters, ending
Tuesday morning. An approaching trough then moves into the area
Wednesday into Thursday, bringing some showers and isolated
thunderstorms. Winds and seas will increase once again for
Thursday and Thursday night before diminishing for Friday through
the weekend.
