.DISCUSSION...Strong southerly winds will encompass the entire
region today and tonight. Winds will shift from the west to
northwest Sunday and begin to weaken late in the day. Showers will
mostly get hung up on the southern Sierra today but eventually
light showers and a few thunderstorms will spread across southern
Nevada tonight and Sunday. Temperatures will be much cooler
Sunday with readings recovering through the upcoming week while it
stays breezy at times.
