.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue along and north of
the I-70 corridor this afternoon and evening. Gusty winds, small hail,
and brief heavy rain are the main threats. South of I-70, warm, dry,
and breezy weather will prevail. Similar weather is in store on Monday,
though winds will increase ahead of an approaching system. Frequent
gusts up to 45 mph are likely. The system moves through Monday night
into Tuesday, bringing widespread precipitation and much cooler
temperatures. Dry weather returns on Wednesday before another
system brings the chance for more showers later in the week.
