Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central/Southeast Illinois
National Weather Service Lincoln IL
301 PM CDT Sun Apr 22 2018

.DISCUSSION...

A slow moving storm system will bring periodic showers to east
central and southeast Illinois on Monday, with a few lingering
into Tuesday. Areas further west should largely stay dry, though
showers on Monday afternoon may reach as far west as near the
Illinois River. Expect northeast winds to continue on Monday,
becoming more northerly on Tuesday as this system starts to exit
the region. Mixing heights will be high with good ventilation
rates north of I-72, with less favorable burning conditions south.
