.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

Onshore winds and surf heights around 2 feet will keep the rip
current risk high across Bay and Gulf counties this afternoon.
Otherwise, mostly clear skies with highs in the middle 70s is
expected today.


Water Temperature:
71 degrees at Panama City Beach.
71 degrees at the FSU Coastal and Marine Lab near Apalachicola.

near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current remain calm. Don`t fight
the current. Swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable
to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help. If tired, float
or tread water until out of the rip current. Always heed the advice
of the local beach patrol and consult the local beach flag system. If
in doubt, don`t go out.
