National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan WI
907 PM CDT Tue May 21 2024

FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Low pressure around 29.3 inches near the Twin Cities will
strengthen to 29.1 inches and track to north of Lake Superior
overnight. South gales are expected into the overnight hours over
the southern two thirds of the lake. Waves will increase as well
during this time.

Widespread thunderstorms are expected to move across the lake into
the overnight hours, and may contain damaging winds.

A strong cold front will then veer the winds to southwesterly

of the lake through Wednesday. Light to modest southwest winds
will then prevail over the entire lake for Wednesday night and
