Ice jams have formed on many area rivers around the region due to the
deep cold outbreak. The temperatures are forecast to moderate over
the coming days, but still generally remain below normal for the next
ten plus days.
River forecasts routinely incorporate 24 hours of QPF from
April 1 to September 30 and 48 hours from October 1 to March 31.
