...WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON
THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow possible. Total snow accumulations
  in excess of 6 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Huron and Sanilac Counties.

* WHEN...From 3 PM EST this afternoon through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning
  commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A lake effect snow band develops this evening
  and persists through Thursday morning. While the exact trajectory
  of the band is still uncertain, there is potential for a narrow
  swath of snowfall accumulations to exceed 6 inches by Thursday
  morning.

During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally
heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can
