This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma
Panhandles.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Elevated fire weather conditions are expected through 9 PM this
evening across the Oklahoma Panhandle as well as western and
central sections of the Texas Panhandle due to southwest winds of
10 to 25 mph with higher gusts along with minimum relative humidity
values of 8 to 15 percent.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Critical fire weather conditions are likely to develop Wednesday
afternoon and evening across western sections of the Oklahoma and
Texas Panhandles due to southwest winds of 15 to 25 mph with
higher gusts along with minimum relative humidity values of 9 to
15 percent. A Red Flag Warning is in effect for this area on
Wednesday from Noon until 9 PM CDT.

Thunderstorms may develop Wednesday afternoon and night across
mainly the eastern half of the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles. If
storms form, a few may become severe, with large hail and damaging
winds the primary hazards. In addition, an isolated tornado cannot
be ruled out.

Additional thunderstorms may develop late Thursday afternoon
through Sunday evening across parts of the area. Any storms that
form are expected to remain below severe levels at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.

Area fire managers and emergency officials should be alert for
elevated fire weather conditions this afternoon and evening, and
for critical fire weather conditions Wednesday afternoon and
evening.
