...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL AROOSTOOK COUNTY
THROUGH 330 PM EDT...

At 251 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Portage Lake, or near Portage, moving north at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Fort Kent, Eagle Lake, Portage Lake, New Canada, Wallagrass,
Winterville, Saint Francis, Saint John, and Soldier Pond.

This includes the following highways...
 US Highway 1 near Fort Kent.
 State Highway 11 between Winterville and Fort Kent.
