.DISCUSSION...

Strong southeast winds with gusts up to 45 mph will be seen
through this evening east of Interstate 55. Rain showers in west-
central Illinois late this afternoon will shift east through the
remainder of the state tonight, allowing winds to drop off some.
Winds will veer to the south and then southwest on Tuesday with
gusts remaining elevated around 30-40 mph ahead of a cold front.
The front will work through the area later on Tuesday, shifting
winds to the west-northwest.
