...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southern Shelby,
western Decatur, southeastern Johnson, northeastern Brown and
Bartholomew Counties through 1030 PM EDT
...

At 1004 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northeast of Nashville, or 9 miles west of Columbus, moving
east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Columbus, Greensburg, Adams, Edinburgh, Hope, Flat Rock, Milford,
Westport, Princes Lakes, Geneva, St. Paul, Hartsville, Clifford,
Letts, Burney, Newbern, Gnaw Bone, Taylorsville, Spearsville, and
Peoga.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 66 and 80.
 Interstate 74 between mile markers 126 and 133.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for central and
south central Indiana. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until
100 AM EDT for central and southeastern Indiana.
