.DISCUSSION...

Area wide highs have settled into the upper 50s to low 60s
including 60 degF at Valentine Miller Field.

A degree or two increase remains possible through 6pm MDT given
clear skies and dry air in place. Afternoon humidity minimums have
likely been met and should see steady rises around 5-6pm MDT.
Steady southwest winds will continue this evening, increasing
after 9-10pm MDT with gusts nearing 25 mph once again. These
elevated gusts will hamper overnight humidity recovery with values
remaining in the 70 to 80 percent range.

Winds will quickly veer to the northwest around dawn on Monday as
a cool front slides south through the area. Much stronger winds
are expected behind this boundary with sustained speeds of 15 to
25 mph and gusts as high as 40 mph after sunrise but quickly
falling to less than 20 mph by midday. Temperatures will still be
on the mild side MOnday with highs in the upper 60s and afternoon
humidity minimums falling to the low 20s.
