For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.3 inch low will move from the upper Mississippi
Valley to the Great Lakes today. The weakening storm system will
pass to the northwest of the lake tonight and Thursday sending a
cold front across the lake tonight. The next storm system will
average 29.8 inches as it slowly crosses northern Ontario and
northern Quebec Friday and Saturday sending a secondary cold front
across the Lake Friday night, while expansive high pressure moves
from the Canadian Rockies to the central Plains through Sunday.

showers. Showers with a chance of thunderstorms late. Waves 6 to
9 feet. Waves occasionally around 11 feet.
.TONIGHT...East winds to 30 knots becoming south and diminishing
to 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Showers with a chance of
thunderstorms through the early overnight, then a chance of
showers and thunderstorms late. Waves 6 to 9 feet subsiding to
3 to 5 feet. Waves occasionally around 11 feet.
.THURSDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 15 knots. A chance of showers in
the morning. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming
southeast. A chance of showers overnight. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
.FRIDAY...Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west 15 to
20 knots. Showers during the day, then a chance of showers Friday
night. Waves 1 to 2 feet building to 2 to 4 feet.
.SATURDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to
15 knots. A chance of rain showers. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
