.DISCUSSION...
Elevated meteorological fire weather conditions will continue across
areas on the Caprock this afternoon and early evening as minimum RH
values remain in the single digits and 20 foot winds remain out of
the southwest around 20 mph. Elevated meteorological fire weather
conditions will exist tomorrow as well, but, as with today, green
fuels will help mitigate fire weather concerns. Cooler temperatures
behind a cold front on Thursday will help mitigate fire weather
concerns heading into the weekend.
