003 FNUS76 KOTX 132154 FWSOTX Spot Forecast for Rustlers Gulch...WDFW National Weather Service Spokane WA 254 PM PDT Mon May 13 2024 Forecast is based on ignition time of 1800 PDT on May 13. If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION... High pressure will continue to be disrupted by passing disturbances bringing wind shifts and gusts as these synoptic winds interact and suppress any diurnal local winds. Winds may also become gusty and erratic if a storm or shower passes near the site today however this is less likely to occur tomorrow (Tuesday), otherwise after tonight sunny and clear conditions with what looks to be a warming trend runs Tuesday and Wednesday. Uncertainty with timing of next passing disturbance Thursday allows for yet another forecast of noting more synoptic winds rather than diurnal ones. Cooling on or after Thursday with increased instability may allow for showers (including a mention of spotty short lived afternoon and evening thunder) for Friday and Saturday. .REST OF TODAY...
