493 WGUS83 KPAH 052219 FLSPAH Flood Advisory National Weather Service Paducah KY 519 PM CDT Sun May 5 2024 MOC143-060130- /O.NEW.KPAH.FA.Y.0017.240505T2219Z-240506T0130Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ New Madrid MO- 519 PM CDT Sun May 5 2024 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM CDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Missouri, including the following county, New Madrid. * WHEN...Until 830 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 519 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
