Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest and South-Central
Arizona and Southeast California
National Weather Service Phoenix AZ
1232 PM MST Sun May 12 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Above normal temperatures and seasonably dry conditions will
persist through Monday. Minimum afternoon humidity levels should
fall to around 10% across lower desert communities and into the
teens over higher terrain areas. Overnight recovery will range
from poor to fair in a 20-50% range. Afternoon breeziness with
gusts 20-25 mph will be common. A couple isolated afternoon
showers may impact far eastern zones with gusty, erratic winds,
but little in the way of accumulating rainfall should be
expected. Similar conditions are expected for much of the week
ahead.

Note...Additional Fire Weather Forecast information can be found
in the Area Forecast Discussion. See product PHXAFDPSR.
