...A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Baca County and eastern
Las Animas County for Saturday from 11AM through 7PM...

.Discussion...

Critical fire weather conditions are expected across the far
southeastern plains today and tomorrow as southwesterly winds
increase and dry air mixes into the region. Near to spotty critical
fire weather conditions are expected within the gap flow prone areas
and the rest of the plains. Dry conditions are anticipated for much
of the district today and tomorrow, other than light snow showers
along the central mountains through Saturday.

Widespread critical fire weather conditions are still expected
across the plains Sunday as southwesterly winds continue to increase
and additional drier air pushes over the region. Otherwise,
precipitation will start to increase along the mountains and valleys
during the day.

Critical fire weather conditions lessen Monday and Tuesday as
precipitation starts to overspread the district, with then a possible
return of critical fire weather conditions late next week as
conditions dry out again.

Smoke dispersion rates today will be Excellent for most of the
district. Rates tomorrow will be Very Good to Excelled for most of
the district.
