Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...High pressure, 30.09 inches, will gradually build into the great lakes region on Thursday. A gusty late day southwest to westerly winds today, will ease tonight while becoming northwest in advance of this high. Modest easterly winds as the high remains over the region through Thursday night. The next low pressure system tracks into the northern great lakes Friday. Potential for thunderstorms across area lakes Friday afternoon and evening.
